Established in 2008, Urban Jungli is a new cutting edge music movement and performing group from Birmingham UK. They are mentored by cultural warrior and guru, Eugene Skeef. Their music includes sounds and musicians from across the world creating and mixing folk, classical, spoken word, hip hop, reggae, bhangra-punk and funk and desi beats creating a rich and fresh world-urban sound. 21st Century heroes include Raju Mali, Shankojam, Oh Castro, Mendi, Unbound Beats and Waler. Key clients to date include Bass Music Festival/Punch Records, Gigbeth, Indigo3/Bombay Chill, sampad, SAMA festival, Square Festival and Shambala festival.
