Darbar curates the Darbar Festival, which presents according to BBC Radio 3 Britain’s ‘highest quality performances in Indian classical music.’ Songlines magazine says it is the country’s ‘most important celebration of Indian classical music.’

Taking place every Easter at London’s Kings Place, it is Europe’s largest gathering of Indian classical musicians. It brings together maestros, UK artists, and classical traditions from across the sub-continent, and is broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and SkyArts.

Darbar also works with musicians and composers from other genres to produce innovative cross-cultural music. It curates events at London’s Southbank Centre, The Sage Gateshead, Leicester’s Curve, the V&A Museum and works with partners in the Midlands.
